Do your residents LOVE music? Do they enjoy relaxing and deserve some special entertainment? If so, I have exciting news for you! Serenity Sensory Music can now travel to your residential home, bringing a delightful musical interlude right to your doorstep.

Why Choose Serenity Sensory Music?

By booking a session, you treat your staff and residents to an enjoyable, relaxing experience filled with music, sensory exploration, and vibrant lights. During my visits, you will have exclusive use of all my Serenity Sensory Music equipment, including a variety of instruments, bubbles, and disco lights.

  • Opportunities for residents to explore tactile instruments, fostering engagement and creativity.

  • A visually stimulating environment with disco lights that create a joyful and colorful display.

Requirements for Your Space

To ensure an optimal experience, I request a room that can be made relatively dark (with curtains or blinds drawn) and has access to electricity/mains plugs.

Rest assured, all my instruments and equipment are fully insured, and I hold an enhanced DBS check for your peace of mind.

What Sensory Music Can Help With

Sensory music can be especially beneficial for individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety or stress

  • Autism

  • Chronic pain

  • Depression

  • PTSD

  • Difficulties with communication

  • And much more...

Engaging with sensory music can activate brain regions related to memory, emotions, movement, and decision-making. It helps fulfill social needs for older adults in group settings and can lead to a host of positive feelings, including calmness, euphoria, and emotional intimacy.

Key Benefits

Research has shown that sensory music can:

  • Lower heart rate and blood pressure

  • Relax muscle tension

  • Release endorphins

  • Strengthen motor skills

  • Improve communication for individuals with developmental disabilities

While sensory music sessions are not a substitute for medical treatment, they can be a valuable component of a comprehensive care plan when combined with other therapeutic interventions.
